About B.Pharm (LE) Programmes
B.Pharm (LE) programme is a three-year Undergraduate programme pursued after Diploma in Pharmacy (approved by PCI). Candidates with a D.Pharm degree, who want to continue their education in pharmacy are eligible to take admission in the B.Pharm programme through lateral entry. The core difference between B.Pharm and B.Pharm LE is the length of the course. B. Pharm takes four years, while B.Pharm (Lateral Entry), only three years. The lateral entry system allows D.Pharm holders to directly enroll into second year of B.Pharm programme.

About Faculty of Pharmacy
The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 2020, under the aegis of Usha Martin University. It runs three programmes: Diploma in Pharmacy–two years programme with 3 months of mandatory training, Bachelor of Pharmacy – four years programme, and B.Pharm Lateral Entry – two years of D.Pharm continued with the last three years of the B.Pharm programme.
The main objective of the programmes is to meet the demand of well qualified personnel in the present time in the field of Pharmacy. These personnel would be able to not only skillfully tackle the challenges on the practical front but also explain the conceptual rationale behind any problem or situation pertaining to the healthcare field. In order to carve the aspiring students, the faculties keep themselves equipped with knowledge and updated through several programmes like Faculty Development Programme, Quality Improvement Programme etc.
The faculty normally work on the activities that are required and guided by the PCI to promote the students’ interest, also imbibe and sustain the learnings of the curriculum by the students. Examples of such activities are- seminars, workshops, educational tours to hospitals, botanical parks, Pharmacy day celebration etc. Along with academic endeavors, the Department is engaged in extracurricular and cultural activities designed to holistically hone students’ personality. The faculty is determined to develop in students the analytical approach to foresee the opportunities in every challenge and ability to conquer them.
The campus’s overall ambiance is marked by tranquility, which is conducive to intellectual pursuits. The campus is spread over 34 acres, with buildings and infrastructure that meet the norms and standards of the Pharmacy Council of India. - To produce pharmacy graduates who are well-versed in fundamental concepts and have a high level of technical proficiency in pharmaceutical science and technology.

Pharm programme, but not eligible for the B. Pharm (Lateral Entry)
