Students will evaluate case opinion from multiple perspectives: e.g., use of precedent, reasoning and rhetoric; reliance of historic, economic or political sources and cultural or social values; special attention in prospective impact.
Students will develop a sound academic base, understand the basic theories and practice of legislative enactment and interpretation
Students will be able to understand the relationship between cases and statutes, and proper and appropriate use of solutions to legal problem
Students will be able to predict the probable judicial resolution of simulated legal disputes.
