About B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Highway & Mobility Design

A well-developed and planned infrastructure not only ensures better connectivity but also ensures nation’s sustainable development and security. From stunning and appealing architectures like Burj Khalifa, Eiffel Tower to fundamental infrastructure including railway roads, highways, bridges and dams; all these engineering marvels that we are observing contribution of Civil Engineering.
Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and evergreen engineering disciplines which over time, has evolved manifold. Today, the advent of trailblazing technology and automation has brought significant changes in the field of civil engineering. B.Tech Civil Engineering at Usha Martin University is a sublime blend of practical and theoretical education wherein curriculum is designed with a future perspective equips students with advanced technical acumen and excellent problem-solving skills that enable them to tackle any challenge that might arise from the new age technological revolution.
Core subjects taught in this programme are basic and advanced levels in mechanics/dynamics of soils, structures and fluids together with surveying, transportation, environmental engineering, construction technology and construction project management. In addition, students acquire comprehensive knowledge of Civil Engineering including Civil drafting tools, associated BIM technologies such as Revit Architecture and Structure, Revit MEP, Model Authoring in BIM, Overview of Digital Twin with Virtual reality integration in BIM, planning and costing in BIM and BIM Management.
About Programme
Eligibility for B. Tech Civil Engineering
Students who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks from any recognized institute are eligible for B.Tech in Civil Engineering – Highway & Mobility Design

Outcome of the programme:
- Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals to find the solution to complex engineering problems
- Upon completion of the programme, students will develop excellent problem-solving skills. They will be able to analyze complex engineering problems
- Tech Civil Engineering develops sublime technical acumen in students. The programme enables them to create, select, and apply appropriate engineering techniques to build excellent engineering marvels.
