Short Profile
Dr. Shimpi Kumari is a lecturer in the Department of English. After completing her graduation with honours in English from Ranchi Women's College, Ranchi, she completed her Masters in English from the University Department of English, Ranchi University, Ranchi with specialization in English Language Teaching. Thereafter she completed her M.Phil programme in English from University Department of English, Ranchi University, Ranchi. Dr.Shimpi has completed her PhD in English from Ranchi University, her thesis is entitled Error Analysis: Writing Skills at Secondary Level in Jharkhand. Herareas of interest include the ESP, ELT and Applied Linguistics.
Dr. Shimpi has been a guest lecturer in English at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study in BIT Extension Centre, Ranchi.
